Jeremiah's is a
little ways down Monroe past the rest of the bars,
but that's okay because they don't cater to nearly the same crowd.
Jeremiah's focuses on wings, beer, and a comfortable atmosphere.
It is certainly as much a restaurant as it is a bar.
The beer, as such, is kind of expensive but, in our eyes,
well worth it for the atmosphere.
The crowd is anywhere from 20-somethings to 40-somethings,
very diverse and very friendly.
We haven't been overly impressed with Jeremiah's waitress service,
but those kinds of problems happen anywhere,
and while one night you could hate the service somewhere,
the next night you could be pampered like a king.
We just hope that's the was Jeremiah's is,
and our visits were the exception to the rule.
The wings are good, the beer selection is decent (roughly 20 beers on tap),
and the atmosphere is a step above.
