If you're in
Pittsford and someone asks you to go to 'the local dive',
you'll probably end up at Thirsty's on State St.
(which is really just a continuation of Monroe Ave).
Don't let the term "dive" fool you,
Thirsty's is actually a pretty nice place to relax and have a beer,
assuming you don't mind a crowd that's 90% male and 10% girlfriends.
One of the newest draws of Thirsty's is its outdoor deck/patio,
where smoking is allowed.
If you're having trouble finding it don't be embarassed,
there's no sign outside,
just a doorway with a bouncer across from Starbucks.
